AI Intern Role Overview

We are building AI-powered tools for compliance professionals (TaxTechonology). The goal is to automate complex workflows such as document parsing, financial calculations, and AI-assisted analysis.

We are looking for an intern with backend and AI integration skills to help build and improve these AI-driven systems. Finance or tax knowledge is not required — the focus is purely on engineering and AI development.

Six months internship with full time offer after six months based on performance

Responsibilities
- Build APIs using Python (FastAPI / Flask):
- Implement document parsing pipelines (PDF, CSV, structured data)
- Design and maintain data processing workflows:
- Work with vector databases / embeddings for AI retrieval systems
- Optimize AI prompts and workflows for reliability
- Build backend systems for file uploads, processing, and result generation:
- Deploy services using Docker and cloud platforms

Required Skills:
- Python programming:
- FastAPI, Flask, or similar backend frameworks:
- Understanding of REST APIs:




- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) - Exposure to services like S3, EC2, Lambda, or API Gateway is a plus
- Knowledge of data processing (CSV, JSON, Pandas):
- Familiarity with Git and version control:
- Basic understanding of Docker and cloud deployment

Good to Know
- Understanding of RAG pipelines:
- Understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, etc.):
- Frontend knowledge (Next JS / simple JS)
