Position: Sales Manager

Job location: Karnataka

Experience required: 12-18 years

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Mechanical, MBA in Marketing

Industry Preference: Agriculture Industry

Job skills required

Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Karnataka region in line with business objectives.

Achieve sales, revenue and market-share targets for the state.

Develop, manage and strengthen the dealer/distributor network across Karnataka.

Identify new business opportunities and appoint suitable dealers in potential markets.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing and customer requirements.

Ensure effective implementation of sales schemes, promotions and new product launches.

Work closely with dealers to improve customer reach and product availability.

Ensure accurate sales forecasting and timely reporting.

Monitor overdue/outstanding payments in coordination with dealers and internal teams.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate/MBA in Sales & Marketing or equivalent qualification.
- 12–18 years of experience in sales,



preferably in agricultural machinery, farm equipment, tractor implements, industrial equipment or a related industry.
- Solid experience in dealer network management and territory development.
- Good understanding of the Karnataka agricultural and farm equipment market.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team leadership skills with focus on achieving sales and business objectives.
