Sales Manager – Process Instrumentation

Location: Pune

Experience: 5–10 years

Team: 4–5 Sales Engineers

Travel: Extensive travel across India

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a hands-on Sales Manager who can lead a team of 4–5 Sales Engineers and drive sales of process instrumentation; mainly pressure switches, pressure transmitters, temperature instruments, level instruments and flow instruments.

You should have:

- 5–10 years of experience in industrial/process instrumentation sales
- Strong knowledge of pressure, temperature, level and flow instruments
- Direct experience selling pressure switches, pressure transmitters or pressure gauges — highly preferred
- Experience managing or mentoring a sales team
- Experience selling to OEMs, EPCs, consultants and industrial end users
- Ability to develop new customers and applications, not just manage existing accounts
- Ability to support the team in technical discussions, product selection and negotiations
- Strong ownership of sales targets, pipeline and team performance




- Willingness to spend significant time in the field with customers and the sales team

What You Will Do

- Lead and develop a team of 4–5 Sales Engineers
- Set targets and drive their daily/weekly sales activities
- Accompany the team on significant customer visits and help close key opportunities
- Develop major OEM, EPC and end-user accounts yourself
- Identify new applications for Orion's instrumentation
- Drive opportunities from technical discussion → approval → quotation → negotiation → order
- Train the team on products, applications and effective sales practices

This Role Is For You If

You are currently a Senior Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager or Sales Manager in process/industrial instrumentation and are ready to take greater ownership of a team and its results.

We are looking for a sales leader who understands instrumentation—not a generic sales manager.
