We are looking for a Art & Craft Teacher.
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum & Instruction:Plan and conduct engaging Art & Craft lessons for students across all grades. Teach fundamental art concepts such as color, shapes, patterns, and basic design, and demonstrate different techniques including drawing, painting, paper craft, and creative projects. Guide students in the proper and safe use of art tools and materials.
- Student Development:Encourage creativity and self-expression in students through various art and craft activities. Help students explore different artistic styles and develop confidence in their creative abilities.
- Classroom Management:Maintain an organized and well-equipped art classroom, manage art supplies and materials, and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Assessment & Reporting:Observe and evaluate students’ participation and creativity in art activities. Provide constructive feedback and support students in improving their artistic skills.
- Exhibitions & Events:Assist in organizing art displays, exhibitions,
and school events. Prepare student artwork for competitions, cultural programs, and school activities.
- Collaboration:Work with other teachers to integrate art and craft activities into classroom learning. Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic activities.
Skills:
- Robust knowledge of art and craft techniques and creative activities.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to encourage creativity and imagination in students.
- Organized in managing art materials and classroom activities.
- Basic knowledge of art tools, materials, and creative teaching methods.
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Fine Arts, Art & Craft, or related field.
Experience:Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in teaching Art & Craft.
