Role Overview:
Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of AS-50881 and IPC/WHMA-A-620
- Hands-on knowledge of cable/wire preparation, measuring and testing cable assemblies
- Experience in crimp terminations, insulation displacement connections, soldered terminations, connectorization, molding/potting, splicing, marking and labeling
- Knowledge of wire bundle securing, shielding, protective coverings, coaxial and twinaxial cable assemblies, and packing
- Proficiency in wire harness design tools such as CATIA V6 (3DEXPERIENCE), SolidWorks Electrical, or Siemens Capital
- Ability to create harness designs, drawings, and propose design solutions
- Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and heat treatments
- Awareness of AS9100D quality management system
- Hands-on experience in fabricating electrical components
- Experience with lab compliance activities including tool control, FOD, and ESD
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
