Job Opening: Instrumentation & Control Faculty

SMEClabs is seeking experienced professionals to join our department of Industrial Instrumentation. We are looking for individuals who possess deep technical knowledge of process control and the ability to mentor aspiring engineers in a fast-paced training workplace.

Position Overview
- Role: Faculty - Industrial Instrumentation
- Total Vacancies: 2
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Industrial Automation training or Process Industry
- Salary Range: ₹25,000 - ₹45,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
- Process Training: Deliver comprehensive training on Field Instruments (Transmitters, Control Valves, Solenoids) and Process Variables (Pressure, Level, Flow, Temperature).
- Calibration & Maintenance: Conduct practical workshops on the calibration of smart instruments and the use of HART communicators.
- Control Systems: Teach the integration of field instruments with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.




- P&ID; Literacy: Enable students to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;) and loop drawings.
- Assessment: Evaluate student progress through practical lab exams and mock technical interviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of PID controllers, loop tuning, and industrial safety standards (SIL, Hazop).
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Intools (SPI) or similar instrumentation design software is a plus.
- Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation, EIE, or EEE.
- Aptitude: Strong analytical skills and a "safety-first" mindset when handling industrial equipment.
