Job Title: STP Operator (Sewage Treatment Plant Operator)Job Summary:
The STP Operator is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the sewage treatment plant to ensure effective treatment of wastewater as per environmental norms and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor STP systems including pumps, blowers, aerators, clarifiers, and filters.
- Ensure proper functioning of treatment processes like screening, aeration, sedimentation, and disinfection.
- Maintain required output quality as per PCB norms (Pollution Control Board).
- Perform routine checks of equipment and record readings (flow, pH, DO, MLSS, etc.).
- Handle sludge removal, dewatering, and disposal activities.
- Maintain logbooks, daily reports, and operational records.
- Identify faults and coordinate with maintenance team for repairs.
- Ensure chemical dosing (chlorine, alum, polymer, etc.) as required.




- Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping of the plant area.

Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of STP processes (MBBR, SBR, ASP, etc.)
- Ability to read and maintain operational logs
- Understanding of water quality parameters (pH, BOD, COD, TSS, DO)
- Basic troubleshooting skills for pumps and motors
- Awareness of safety and environmental standards

Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental Engineering
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in STP/WTP/ETP operation preferred

Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts (if applicable)
- On-site plant operation
- Exposure to wastewater setting

Preferred:
- Experience in MBBR / SBR technology:
- Knowledge of Pollution Control Board compliance

Pay: ₹10,129.07 - ₹18,000.00 per month
