Job Title:
VMC Operator (Vertical Machining Centre Operator)

Production / Manufacturing

Reporting To:
Production Supervisor / Plant Manager

Job Summary:
The VMC Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the VMC machine as per the production plan
- Set tools, fixtures, and machine parameters
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometre, etc.)
- Perform tool offset adjustments and minor troubleshooting
- Maintain production records and daily reports
- Follow safety procedures and PPE compliance
- Maintain housekeeping around the machine area
- Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams





Required Skills:
- Knowledge of VMC machine operations
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Understanding of CNC programming basics (preferred)
- Knowledge of measuring instruments
- Basic machine maintenance knowledge
- Attention to detail and quality focus

Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Relevant Trade
- Experience: 1-3 years in VMC operations (Freshers with training may apply)

- Shift-based work
- Over time as per production requirement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
