As per the, eligibility for Assistant Professor in medical colleges requires a recognized PG degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the department of Radiodiagnosis, plus 1 year as a Senior Resident, or 2 years’ experience as a Specialist department of Radiodiagnosis /Medical Officer in a 220+ bedded government hospital, along with mandatory completion of the Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) within two years.

- Educational Qualification: A recognized Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the department of Radiodiagnosis.
- Experience Requirements (Choose one route):
- Route B (Clinical/Non-Teaching):



Two years of experience as a Specialist department of Radiodiagnosis or Medical Officer in a government hospital with at least 220 beds after obtaining a PG degree.
- Route C (Diploma Holder): A diploma holder must have 6 years of work experience in the respective department/specialty in a government teaching hospital or NBEMS-recognized institution.
- Training Requirements: Completion of the Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) within two years of appointment.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit for faculty is 70 years.
- Salary: Rs. 1,10,000/- Per Month
