Job Title: Pre-Primary Assistant Teacher

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily lesson plans and activities.

Support children during classroom activities, including play-based learning, arts, crafts, and storytelling.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Observe and report on student behavior, progress, and needs to the lead teacher.
- Assist in preparing teaching materials, learning resources, and classroom displays.
- Encourage social, emotional, and communication skills through guided play and interaction.
- Support children with individual learning needs under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Supervise children during meals, outdoor play, and other non-classroom activities.
- Assist with parent-teacher communication when required.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as needed.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma; Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- Additional certifications in child care,



first aid, or Montessori methods are an advantage.

Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or early learning environment is preferred (1-2 years).
- Experience in supporting classroom activities and child development programs is a plus.

Skills:
- Basic knowledge of early childhood development principles.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and support the lead teacher effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with young children.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
