Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect finished garments for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Detect and document defects such as stains, fabric damage, incorrect stitching, loose threads, missing or loose hooks, buttons, zippers, etc.
- Perform minor repairs or adjustments (e.g., replacing buttons, tightening loose stitching) when needed.
- Conduct in-line and final inspections of apparel before they are stocked out.
- Ensure consistency in size, measurements, labeling, and overall garment presentation.
- Work closely with production and design teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality records.
- Suggest process improvements to minimize future defects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in garment inspection or quality control, preferably in a fashion or apparel setting.
- Basic stitching knowledge and hands-on experience in handling minor garment fixes.
- Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of fabric types and garment construction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
