Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in vendor management and procurement software such as SAP Ariba or Oracle Procurement Cloud (Mandatory skill).
- Demonstrated negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with vendors and secure best pricing and terms (Mandatory skill).
- Strong understanding of supply chain management to ensure seamless procurement and delivery of materials.
- Capability in data analysis to assess and optimize purchasing decisions based on past trends and forecasts.
- Experience in contract management to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and company procurement policies.
- Budgeting skills to manage and allocate funds effectively for purchasing activities and cost control.
- Expertise in purchase order management to track, monitor, and complete purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with various departments and stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities




- Negotiate with vendors to acquire the best deals on materials, ensuring high quality and cost-efficiency.
- Manage procurement software systems to streamline purchasing processes and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze market trends to forecast procurement needs and strategize purchasing activities accordingly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate long-term contracts.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.
- Report on purchasing metrics to stakeholders and provide insights for continuous process improvement.
