Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Perform refraction and vision testing for patients of all age groups
- Conduct preliminary eye examinations and diagnostic tests
- Assist ophthalmologists during patient consultations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
- Handle patient queries and provide guidance on vision care
- Assist in contact lens fitting and patient education
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of optical instruments
- Coordinate with the front desk and clinical team for smooth patient flow
- Follow hospital protocols and hygiene standards

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Optometry
- Valid certification or registration (if applicable)

Experience




- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in an eye hospital or optical setup

Key Skills
- Strong refraction skills
- Patient handling and communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge (typing, EMR, documentation)
- Attention to detail and clinical accuracy
- Professional and ethical approach

Working Conditions
- Hospital-based clinical workplace
- Rotational shifts as per hospital schedule

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Indore, Madhya Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:
- Diploma (preferred)

Experience:
- Optometrist: 5 years (required)
- Eye Hospital: 4 years (preferred)

Shift availability:
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
