Key Responsibilities

1. Insect Rearing & Production
- Manage and optimize rearing of insects such as Black Soldier Fly (BSF), Mealworms, and Silkworms:
- Oversee breeding, egg collection, and lifecycle optimization
- Ensure high survival rate and productivity across all stages

2. Nutrition & Feed Management
- Develop and optimize feed formulations for different insect species
- Work on waste-to-protein conversion systems:
- Monitor and improve Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR):
- Optimize substrates for maximum yield and efficiency

3. Environmental Control
- Maintain optimal temperature, humidity, and light cycles:
- Implement and monitor environmental control systems
- Work with automation tools for climate-controlled rearing

4. Research & Development (R&D;)
- Design and execute experiments for process improvement
- Conduct data analysis and generate actionable insights
- Contribute to research publications (if applicable)
- Lead or support scale-up from lab to industrial production

5. Operations & Quality Management
- Identify and resolve operational challenges in real-time




- Manage disease prevention and contamination control
- Improve yield, efficiency, and production consistency
- Maintain SOPs and compliance standards

6. Industry & Regulatory Compliance
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and certification requirements

7. Business & Commercial Support
- Support cost optimization initiatives
- Contribute to commercial-scale setup and expansion
- Provide inputs for revenue strategies and product development

8. Tools, Technology & Automation
- Operate and maintain lab and production equipment
- Use data analysis and software tools for monitoring
- Work with automation/AI systems in production environments

9. Collaboration & Team Management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D;, Production, QA)
- Train and guide junior staff or technicians
- Ensure transparent communication and reporting
