About the Company
Pradhan Industries is one of the oldest and most reputed names in the natural graphite industry of Odisha. With mining and beneficiation units at multiple locations such as Bandhamandi, Lakshmipur, Bainibasa, and Birida, we specialize in upgrading raw graphite to higher Fixed Carbon (FC) grades as per industrial requirements. Our operations involve heavy machinery, critical material movement, diesel usage, and maintenance spares, making our Stores Department one of the most significant pillars of our business.

Key Responsibilities

Material Receiving & Verification
- Receive materials sent from Head Office (Bhubaneswar), GMO (Rayagada), or directly by vendors.
- Physically verify items with Plant In-charge or relevant department before accepting.
- Record material in Daily Material Receipt Register, post entries into Tally software, and update the stock register daily.

Material Issue Process
- Issue materials (spares, consumables, tools, etc.) only against signed requisition slips from Plant In-charge or Shift Supervisor.




- Maintain daily issue records and update Master Issue Register and Tally on a daily basis.
- Handle returnable materials (tools and equipment) and ensure proper return and documentation.

Diesel Handling
- Prepare diesel indents in coordination with department heads as per requirement (critical, monthly, or emergency).
- Receive diesel barrels with proper verification and documentation.
- Issue diesel vehicle-wise and maintain detailed consumption records for tippers, JCBs, D.G. sets, guest vehicles, and other categories.
- Maintain diesel stock in Daily HSD Register and report to Head Office.

Store Register Maintenance
- Maintain all registers without fail, including:
- Master Stock Register (General Store and Development Store)
- Material Discrepancy Register
- Daily Stock Exhaust Register
- Daily Material Requisition Register
- Diesel and Pine Oil Register
- Bearing Register, V-Belt Register, HDPE Bags Register, Scrap Registe
