Job Title: Fashion Designer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Fashion Designer with a strong design sensibility and a deep understanding of contemporary and Indian aesthetics — someone who can conceptualize, design, and execute collections that feel distinctive, premium, and market-relevant.
This role requires a designer who can translate ideas into well-crafted garments, balancing creativity with commercial viability, and elevating the brand’s overall design language.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design seasonal collections aligned with the brand’s identity, vision, and target audience.
- Develop original prints, embroideries, surface techniques, and design details that add uniqueness and depth to each garment.
- Work on silhouettes, fits, and construction to ensure garments are both aesthetically strong and wearable.
- Research market trends, fabrics, colors, and global fashion directions, and adapt them into brand-relevant designs.
- Create detailed tech packs, sketches, and design specifications for sampling and production.
- Collaborate closely with karigars, tailors, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and high-quality execution.
- Oversee the sampling process — from first prototype to final garment — ensuring perfect fit, finish, and detailing.
- Maintain consistency in design language while continuously evolving the brand’s visual and product identity.
- Contribute to styling direction for shoots, lookbooks, and campaigns to ensure design intent is communicated effectively.
- Work with the marketing and content team to align designs with storytelling, launches, and campaign requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in contemporary Indian or fusion wear.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, têxtiles, garment construction, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to create cutting-edge yet commercially viable designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illus
