This role involves creating innovative and market-relevant print and embellished fabric designs for home furnishing products like
- Cushions, Rugs, Throws, Bags etc. The designer will work closely with, artisans, and product development teams to bring unique, high-quality collections to life. They will also be responsible for creating product presentations based on customer mood boards/trends, aligning designs with specific client aesthetics and market demands.

Knowledge and experience in creating prints and surface ornamentation would be a valuable addition.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop printed and embellished têxtile patterns and fabric concepts using CAD software like photoshop or Corel Draw.
- Create detailed design concepts including colorways, and yarn selections, ensuring alignment with market trends and brand aesthetics.
- Source appropriate yarns, dyes, and materials suited for various techniques and product requirements.
- For Prints and Surface work
- Collaborate with in-house teams and artisans to translate design concepts into physical samples and final products.




- To create product presentations based on customer mood boards.
- Actively participate in showroom displays during meetings with international clients.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in têxtile design, specifically in print + embellished têxtiles.
- Strong understanding of techniques, yarn types, fabric construction, and finishing processes.
- Proficiency in software such as Photoshop, Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator.
- Good color sense and ability to create innovative patterns suitable for different markets.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
