Role Description The Sales and Service Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This role involves visiting client sites to install, commission, and maintain electrical equipment and systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The individual will handle service calls, diagnose technical issues, perform repairs, and provide preventive maintenance.

Daily activities include preparing technical proposals, supporting sales presentations, coordinating with internal teams on order processing, and following up with clients to build long-term relationships.



The role also requires maintaining detailed documentation of service activities, adhering to safety standards, and contributing feedback to improve products and services.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, with the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment or systems.
- Customer-focused mindset with effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for sales and service interactions.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, basic office software, and maintaining accurate service and sales records.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, travel to client locations as needed, and comply with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
