Role Description The Robotics and Physical AI Trainer is a part-time remote role responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on training in robotics and applied AI. Day-to-day tasks include designing lesson plans and projects, creating instructional materials, and leading virtual workshops or classes focused on robotics hardware, sensors, actuators, and AI-driven control systems. The trainer will guide learners through building and programming robotic prototypes, demonstrate best practices for safety and troubleshooting, and provide individualized feedback to support skill development.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the curriculum team to refine course content, assessing learner progress, and staying current with emerging trends in robotics, machine learning,



and physical AI to continuously improve training quality.

Qualifications

- Applied robotics and physical AI skills, including experience with microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and robotic platforms.
- Programming and AI skills relevant to robotics (e.g., Python, C/C++, ROS, basic machine learning or computer vision concepts).
- Instructional skills in coaching and training, including Fitness Instruction, Personal Training, and Sports Coaching, to deliver explicit, structured, and motivating learning experiences.
- Knowledge of Nutrition and Circuit Training concepts to design balanced, physically engaging robotics activities when relevant and to model holistic wellbeing for learners.
- Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities, with experience teaching or training diverse learner groups.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time schedules, and use online collaboration and learning platforms effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Education, or a related field; teaching or coaching certifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for education, learner-centered teaching, and promoting inclusion and accessibility in STEM and AI training.
