The Pharmacy Assistant supports the pharmacy team in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. The role involves assisting pharmacists, maintaining records, and providing courteous service to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications as per prescriptions.
- Receive, label, and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies.
- Maintain proper records of stock, prescriptions, and billing.
- Ensure accurate packaging and labeling of medicines.
- Handle billing and payment collection from patients.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the pharmacist about shortages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
- Check expiry dates and remove expired or damaged medicines.
- Assist in inventory audits and stock verification.
- Provide basic information to patients regarding medicine usage (as guided by the pharmacist).
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
