Join Alfa Laval Team as Service Center Order Handler

Join us as our Service Center Order Handler - Visakhapatnam for providing direct support to customers in project or complex sales, and has responsibilities including logistics, invoicing and/or order fulfilment. In constant contact with Alfa Laval Service center.

This role reports to Service Centre Manager and would be responsible for
- Manage the order process for products, projects, and complex sales, from quote acceptance to invoicing.
- Oversee order acknowledgment management.
- Follow up on costs and deliveries from factories.
- Monitor and follow up on order backlog.
- Close orders and handle invoicing.
- Provide proactive customer support and respond promptly throughout the process, including order status,



post-order documentation, delivery dates, and logistics information.
- Support customers by resolving basic technical questions.
- Communicate with operations and vendors to obtain current production dates, update required systems, and communicate changes.
- Control purchase order execution and prepare suppliers’ shipping documents.
- Inform clients of the “proof of delivery” to validate that the delivery was completed.
- Maintain traceability information for order conversion, confirmation, fulfillment, client communication, billing, and proof of delivery (POD) through the company’s CRM.
- Ensure orders are maintained and updated; handle returns, commissions, credits/debits, and coordinate and follow up on customer claims.
