The Assistant Chef will support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards at Rosa Stays properties. The role involves assisting in meal preparation, ingredient handling, and ensuring timely service to deliver a comfortable and homely dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities




- Assist the Chef in preparing and cooking meals as per menu and guest requirements.
- Perform basic food preparation (cutting, chopping, marination, plating).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials and ingredients.
- Help in kitchen setup before service and cleaning after service.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate with F&B; staff for timely service.
- Report stock shortages and assist in inventory management.

Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience as Commis/Assistant Cook in hotel, resort, or restaurant.
- Basic knowledge of Indian cuisine (continental basics preferred).
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a team and under supervision.
- Willingness to work versatile shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
