Job Summary:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, components, and services required for the manufacturing of CNG booster systems. The role ensures timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for CNG booster manufacturing components such as compressors, valves, pipelines, fittings, electricals, and fabrication materials.
- Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation items.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Track orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production teams to avoid shortages or overstocking.




- Ensure quality compliance of procured materials as per technical specifications.
- Handle vendor performance evaluation and maintain vendor database.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice processing and payment follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company procurement policies.
- Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of industrial procurement (especially CNG / gas / manufacturing sector preferred)
- Understanding of technical specifications (mechanical & electrical components)
- Valuable analytical and cost comparison skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Tally/other procurement software)
- Effective communication and coordination abilities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Engineering / Supply Chain Management or related field
- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
