ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN THE DEPARTMENT OF RADIODIAGNOSIS:
As per National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations, an Associate Professor in a medical college must hold a recognized postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) in the department of Radiodiagnosis. Key requirements include at least 4 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in an NMC-recognized medical college and mandatory completion of Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME) and Biomedical Research (BCBR).

Key Eligibility Criteria (Associate Professor):
- Qualification: MD/MS/DNB or an equivalent qualification recognized by the NMC in the department of Radiodiagnosis.
- Teaching Experience: A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the department of Radiodiagnosis in a permitted/recognized medical college/institution.
- Research Publications:



At least two research publications (original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, or case series) published in indexed journals (Medline, PubMed, Scopus, etc.).
- Mandatory Training:
- Basic Course in Medical Education Technology (BCME).
- Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR).
- Alternative Experience Route: Under the Medical Institution (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations 2025, registered medical practitioners with a recognized PG degree and 10 years of cumulative experience in a government hospital with at least 220 beds may also be eligible.
- Salary: Rs. 1,30,000/- Per Month
