Job Summary

We are looking for a Store In-Charge experienced in engineering / CNC machining environment to manage shop-floor consumables and raw material inventory. The role focuses on maintaining proper stock levels, monitoring consumption, ensuring material traceability, and supporting uninterrupted production through systematic store control.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Consumables & Inventory Control
- Maintain stock of cutting tools, inserts, holders, collets, gauges, coolant, oils, fasteners, abrasives and packing materials
- Maintain Minimum Stock, Re-Order Quantity and MOQ levels
- Monitor consumption pattern and highlight abnormal usage
- Prevent stock-out and over-stock situations
- Track fast moving and slow moving consumables
- Control tool life, regrind and scrap quantities wherever applicable

2. Material Receipt & Issue
- Verify inward materials against purchase orders and specifications
- Check quantity, size,



grade and correctness before acceptance
- Issue consumables to machines / operators based on production requirement
- Maintain proper return system for reusable items
- Follow FIFO and proper batch identification practices

3. Classification & Segregation
- Classify consumables based on machine / part / tool type
- Segregate current, used, regrind and rejected tools
- Implement rack location and visual identification system
- Avoid mixing of grades, sizes and specifications
- Maintain organized tool storage for quick retrieval

4. Documentation & Record Maintenance
- Maintain daily inward and outward entries in ERP / Excel
- Maintain bin cards, stock registers and traceability records
- Prepare consumption reports and stock status reports
- Support audits and maintain documentation compliance
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation

5. Shop-Floor Coordination
- Coordinate with Production,
