Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Perform gold assay testing for Yellow Gold and White Gold alloys using Fire Assay methodology as per IS 1418:2009 standards:
- Conduct melting, sampling, and testing of precious metal articles with high precision and accuracy
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain XRF machines, micro balances, and analytical balances:
- Ensure accurate sample preparation, handling, and labeling as per laboratory SOPs
- Manage the complete hallmarking process through BIS portal, ensuring 100% compliance
- Prepare and verify test reports, assay records, and laboratory documentation:
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly inventory of consumables and laboratory materials:
- Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols and compliance standards:
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and maintaining audit readiness
- Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives:
- Maintain equipment logs, calibration records, and quality control checklists

Education & Experience
- M.Sc. in Environmental Chemistry or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Assay Lab / Hallmarking Centre / Precious Metal Testing
- Prior experience with BIS standards and hallmarking portals preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
