Job Title: Retail Sales Associate - Footwear

Location: Chennai (Malls/showrooms across the city)
Company Type: Footwear Retail Brand/Franchise (e.g., sports, casual, or lifestyle footwear)

Experience Level: 0-2 years (fresher-friendly with retail experience preferred)
Salary Range: Approximately ₹18,000 - ₹28,000 per month (plus incentives/commissions based on performance; varies by company and experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers entering the store, understanding their needs, preferences, and budget to recommend suitable footwear products (e.g sandals, etc.).
- Provide expert advice on product features, fit, comfort, durability, sizing, and brand benefits to help customers make informed purchases.
- Drive sales by actively upselling/cross-selling complementary items (e.g., accessories, socks, care products) and achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns/exchanges professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain store presentation: Keep shelves, displays,



and trial areas clean, organized, and visually appealing; arrange merchandise as per company guidelines.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, handle cash, cards, UPI, and issue bills/receipts.
- Participate in stock management: Assist with inventory checks, replenishing stock, and reporting low-stock items.
- Support promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and store events to boost footfall and sales in the Chennai region.
- Collaborate with team members and store manager to contribute to overall store performance and business development goals.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: 10th/12th pass or graduate (any stream); footwear/fashion retail knowledge is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in retail sales (especially footwear, apparel, or fashion) is preferred but freshers with good communication skills are encouraged to apply.
