Job Title: 3D Printing Associate

Location: Adyar, Chennai

Experience: 1-3 years

Salary: ₹20,000 - ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience)

Role Summary

The 3D Printing Associate will be responsible for operating and supporting 3D printing processes used in the production of sculptures and décor items. The role involves handling 3D printers, preparing files for printing, monitoring print quality, and performing basic post-processing activities to meet SILAII’s premium quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic post-processing such as cleaning, curing, sanding, and finishing.




- Operate and monitor 3D printing machines for sculptures and prototypes
- Prepare and manage 3D print files using slicing software
- Select appropriate materials and printing parameters as per requirements
- Ensure print accuracy, surface quality, and structural integrity.
- Identify and report print defects or machine issues
- Coordinate with the design and production teams for smooth workflow
- Maintain basic records of print jobs, materials used, and outputs
- Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures

Mandatory Requirements
- Ability to work in a production-oriented setting.
- Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in 3D printing.
- Familiarity with 3D file formats (STL/OBJ) and slicing software.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Willingness to learn new materials, machines, and techniques
- Prior experience in 3D printing or prototyping is an added advantage
