Head Retail Planner and merchandiser drives sales plan through a consistent focus on studying the business, monitoring inventory and sales performance. Track sales performance of existing products, in-season forecasts and future merchandise plans. Manages merchandising and allocations, to optimize store assortments. Ensure that the merchandise financial targets are met including tracking and managing the open-to-buy sales and inventory.

- Manage the OTB sales and inventory and ensure that the merchandise targets will be met on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

-Plans and forecasts for future merchandise buy based on-
- Historical data
- Reccuring buys
- Current inventory levels
- Responsible for reviewing stock to sales ratio and revising MBQs.
- Prepare and respond to changing sales trends.
- Ensures planned sales, planned markups and markdown are achieved.
- Maintains data in merchandising systems.
- Ensures planned merchandise flow.
- proactive approach to address varainces against planned objective
