Role Description The Research and Development Specialist will support the design, development, and optimization of Beauty & Personal Care products for startup and emerging brand clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting scientific research, planning and executing laboratory experiments, recording and analyzing data, and contributing to formulation improvements. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional partners and clients to translate brand concepts into practical R&D; plans, prepare clear documentation and reports, and assist with regulatory and quality considerations.





This is a contract role based in Nagpur, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a mix of in office laboratory work and some work-from-home tasks.

Qualifications

- Strong Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills relevant to Beauty & Personal Care products.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate results, and support evidence-based decisions.
- Proficient Laboratory Skills, including safe handling of materials, accurate measurements, and experiment execution.
- Effective Communication skills for reporting findings, documenting procedures, and collaborating with internal teams and clients.
- Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Experience in formulation development or product testing within beauty, cosmetics, or personal care is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow protocols, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing both on-site lab responsibilities and remote tasks independently.
