1. Position Summary
The RST Operator is responsible for protected and efficient handling of containers within ICD/yard operations using the Reach Stacker machine, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Operate Reach Stacker (RST) for container loading, unloading, stacking, and shifting inside ICD.
- Ensure safe handling of ISO containers without damage to equipment or cargo.
- Follow instructions from shift-in-charge / yard supervisor for daily operations.
- Perform basic machine checks (fuel, hydraulics, brakes, controls).
- Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team immediately.
- Maintain daily operation logs and shift reports.
- Ensure compliance with ICD safety rules, PPE usage, and operating guidelines.
- Coordinate with ground staff, signalmen, and supervisors for smooth workflow.
- Support yard operations during peak hours.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid RST operator license (minimum 3 years of validity).
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating Reach Stacker in ICD/Port/Logistics.
- Good knowledge of container yard operations.
- Understanding of safety protocols and machine handling procedures.
- Ability to work in shifts.
Pay: ₹30,790.05 - ₹31,647.71 per month
