Job Description ? Deskside Support Engineer (Healthcare Clinic)

Role Summary: The Deskside Support Engineer provides onsite technical support for staff in a healthcare clinic, ensuring smooth operation of laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment. The role involves configuring current devices, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with basic IT tasks while maintaining compliance with healthcare data security standards.

Key Responsibilities
Configure and deploy new laptops and desktops (OS installation, drivers, healthcare applications).
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for clinic staff.
Set up and configure printers (network and local) for patient record systems.
Perform password resets and account unlocks in line with clinic IT policies.
Support basic networking issues (Wi-Fi connectivity, LAN troubleshooting).
Assist with projector and AV equipment setup for meetings and training sessions.
Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Escalate complex problems to higher-level support when required.




Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with healthcare data protection and privacy regulations.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with hardware components (RAM, HDD/SSD, peripherals).
Basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
Printer configuration and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with password management tools and Active Directory.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests in a clinical environment.
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years? experience in IT support/helpdesk.
Experience working in a healthcare clinic or hospital environment (preferred).

Salary ? 43000 INR/Month

Work Timings ? 9 hours/ 6 Days (Monday to Saturday)
