Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Reddit Network & Analytics Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining network environments that support Reddit data collection, analysis tools, and related infrastructure. Typical tasks include monitoring network performance, ensuring secure connectivity to Reddit APIs and data sources, and troubleshooting latency, access, or connectivity issues.

The role also involves implementing network security best practices, optimizing routing and bandwidth for data workflows,



and collaborating with analytics and product teams to ensure reliable, compliant data pipelines. The specialist will document network configurations, propose improvements based on usage patterns, and proactively identify risks and opportunities within the network and Reddit ecosystem.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Networking and Network Design skills to architect, configure, and optimize infrastructure supporting Reddit data and analytics workflows.
- Candidates should possess solid Network Administration and Troubleshooting skills to manage day-to-day operations, monitor performance, and quickly resolve connectivity or configuration issues.
- Candidates should possess practical Network Security skills to implement secure access controls, protect data in transit, and maintain compliance with platform and internal policies.
- Relevant experience working with APIs, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), or virtualized environments supporting data analytics solutions is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment are highly valued.
