About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior UI Developer with a strong foundation in React.js and Next.js to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in frontend development who are eager to contribute to impactful projects within the EdTech space. As a Junior UI Developer at EdPlatza Tuition, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing web interfaces that serve our diverse user base.

You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate design concepts into functional digital experiences, ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms and devices. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in UI and frontend development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in React.js and Next.js frameworks.



A solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript is essential, along with expertise in HTML5 and CSS3 for building responsive and accessible web applications. Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or Redux Toolkit, and experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs, are crucial.

Knowledge of contemporary frontend build tools like Webpack or Vite, along with version control systems such as Git, is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team. A degree in any relevant field, including undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications, will be considered, especially if complemented by relevant hands-on development experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web interfaces using React.js and Next.js, ensuring optimal performance and usability across various devices and browsers.

Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into reusable, clean, and maintainable frontend components that align with best practices and coding standards.

Integrate frontend applications seamlessly with backend services and REST APIs, ensuring data consistency and real-time updates where applicable.

Implement and manage application state efficiently using Redux or Redux Toolkit, enhancing user experience and application stability.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver feature-rich and user-centric solutions.





Participate actively in code reviews, contribute to improving code quality, and follow established development workflows and standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve UI, functionality, browser compatibility, and performance issues promptly to ensure a smooth user experience.

Stay updated with the latest frontend development trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance technical skills and project outcomes.
