Role Description The Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing all QA/QC activities at the Jamshedpur plant in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role includes defining and implementing quality standards, monitoring production processes, and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications. The manager leads root cause analysis for quality issues, drives corrective and preventive actions, and coordinates internal and external audits.

Daily responsibilities also involve supervising the QA/QC team, reviewing quality documentation and reports, collaborating with production and engineering to improve processes, and maintaining alignment with industry and regulatory requirements.



The person in this role is expected to champion a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

- Solid background in quality management within manufacturing or automotive environments, including QA/QC systems, standards, and methodologies.
- Experience with process control, inspection techniques, testing procedures, and use of measurement tools and instruments.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis, problem-solving methods, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Ability to develop, review, and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and compliance records.
- Experience coordinating and supporting internal and external audits, customer visits, and supplier quality assessments.
- Leadership skills to manage and mentor QA/QC teams, coordinate cross-functional activities, and promote a culture of quality and safety.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with production, engineering, supply chain, and customer stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field; advanced certifications in quality (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and customer-specific quality requirements is highly beneficial.
