As a QA Intern, you will work closely with QA Engineers and Developers to test web and mobile solutions, identify defects, explore edge cases, and contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality software.

Responsibilities

- Understand assigned solutions, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria with guidance from the QA team.
- Create, update, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, smoke, regression, and retesting activities.
- Identify, reproduce, and document defects with clear steps, expected vs. actual results, and supporting evidence
- Log and track defects using the team's designated issue-tracking tools.
- Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not by new changes
- Test common user journeys, input validations, error handling, and basic usability across browsers and web applications.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers and Developers to clarify expected and observed application behavior




- Execute assigned user stories and validate whether the implemented solution meets defined acceptance criteria
- Support release-readiness checks and contribute to overall product quality.
- Document test results, observations, and user acceptance outcomes as required.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance principles.
- Knowledge of manual testing, including test-case design, test execution, defect reporting and retesting
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong logical and analytical thinking with good attention to detail.
- Curiosity to explore both expected and unexpected user behavior.
- Basic understanding of application development and supporting technologies.
- Positive communication and collaboration skills.
- Exposure to Jira, TestRail, or similar test and defect-tracking tools is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Recently completed or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering and other related fields
- Prior internship or project experience in a SaaS-based technology company.
- Freshers with relevant academic projects, coursework, certifications, or self-learning in software testing courses are encouraged to apply
