Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Improvement (QI) Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives across products, processes, and services. The ideal candidate will identify quality gaps, analyze performance metrics, implement corrective and preventive actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality improvement initiatives using continuous improvement methodologies.
- Analyze process performance, quality metrics, and defect trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, product, and business teams to improve process efficiency.
- Monitor key quality indicators (KPIs) and prepare quality performance reports.
- Facilitate audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance on quality processes and best practices.
- Support customer issue resolution by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, FMEA, and Process Mapping.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and quality reporting tools.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with statistical analysis and quality control techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional and agile environments.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Process Improvement, or Continuous Improvement roles.
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is preferred.
- Experience with quality management and process improvement tools.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.
- Experience with quality dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, CMMI, or industry-specific quality standards.
- Experience in process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
