Role Description The Qa/Qc Supervisor – Mechanical is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position oversees mechanical quality assurance and quality control activities for MEP projects, ensuring that work complies with company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes. The role involves preparing and reviewing QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans, checklists, and reports; conducting regular site inspections; and monitoring installation quality for mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.

The supervisor coordinates with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues, implements corrective and preventive actions,



and supports internal and external audits. The role also includes training site personnel on quality procedures, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of mechanical QA/QC practices.

Qualifications

- Strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, with the ability to develop and implement site-specific QA/QC plans for mechanical works.
- Experience in Quality Management, including setting quality objectives, monitoring performance, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Proficiency in Auditing processes and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or equivalent quality standards applicable to construction and MEP environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with prior experience in QA/QC for MEP or construction projects.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, and practical knowledge of inspection and testing procedures.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, clients, and consultants in office.
- Experience in large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects and proficiency with basic MS Office and QA/QC-related tools is an advantage.
