We’re Instinctive, a digital solutions agency in Bengaluru, and your next project’s digital ally. We design touchpoints, build products, and ship things real people actually use. We’re looking for a product tester who can help us find problems before our users do. You’ll test web and mobile products, run UAT, explore edge cases, document bugs properly, and work directly with design and engineering to get fixes over the line.

This isn’t a role where you only tick boxes on a test sheet. We want someone curious enough to ask, “What happens if I do this?” and methodical enough to explain exactly what broke.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO

- Test new features and complete product journeys across web and mobile
- Run exploratory, functional, smoke, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Turn requirements, Figma designs, and product tickets into clear test scenarios
- Check the details people miss: permissions, validation, responsive layouts, loading states, empty states, error handling, and unusual user behaviour
- Reproduce bugs consistently and write useful reports with steps, expected versus actual behaviour, environment details, severity, screenshots, and recordings
- Retest fixes and maintain release and UAT checklists
- Work closely with product, design, and engineering to clarify unclear behaviour
- Use AI and browser-testing tools to speed up repetitive checks while applying your own judgement to the results

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Up to 2 years of QA, product-testing, internship, freelance, or strong project experience
- A methodical approach and genuine attention to detail
- A basic understanding of test cases, regression testing, bug lifecycles, severity, and priority
- Confidence testing websites and mobile applications across browsers, devices, and screen sizes
- The ability to describe a problem clearly enough that someone else can reproduce it
- Comfortable written and spoken English
- Curiosity about how products work, not just whether a button can be clicked
- Comfortable experimenting with AI tools as part of your testing workflow You do not need to be an automation engineer. You do need to be organised, observant, and willing to investigate when something feels wrong.

BONUS POINTS

- Chrome DevTools or mobile debugging experience
- API testing with Postman or a similar tool • Basic SQL
- Jira, Linear, Notion, or comparable issue-tracking tools
- Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or other browser automation exposure
- Accessibility or performance-testing experience

DETAILS

- Paid 3-month contract
- Full-time hours, 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday
- Bengaluru preferred; remote open for the right person
- Prospect to convert to a full-time employee (FTE) role based on performance, fit, and business requirements
