Key Responsibilities:

- Perform end-to-end manual testing of data engineering workflows, focusing on data accuracy, transformation logic, and pipeline orchestration.
- Validate data stored in Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Delta tables using complex SQL queries.
- Test Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, Azure Databricks SQL notebooks, Unity Catalog configurations, and Azure SQL Database queries.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and support User Acceptance Testing
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases using tools like TestRail.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers.
- Support Power BI report validation and security testing.
- Participate in defect triage meetings and provide detailed bug reports with reproducible steps.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
- Required Skills:





- Robust manual testing experience in data engineering and cloud data lake environments.
- Proficiency in writing and debugging complex SQL queries.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Spark SQL, Unity Catalog, and Azure SQL Database.

- Familiarity with ADLS, Delta Lake, and data validation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with TestRail or similar test management tools.
- Understanding of Power BI report structures and security configurations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with business and technical teams.
- Preferred Skills:

- Exposure to HP's FDL ABCR architecture or similar enterprise data platforms.
- Knowledge of Data engineering framework process is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.
