Role Description The Purchasing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities for interior and fit-out projects. Day-to-day tasks include processing purchase requisitions, preparing and issuing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. The role involves tracking inventory levels, negotiating pricing and terms, and maintaining accurate records in line with company policies and project requirements.

Executive collaborates closely with project managers, site engineers, and the finance team to align procurement with project timelines and budgets. The role also includes monitoring supplier performance, resolving discrepancies, and contributing to continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Robust procurement and purchase management skills, including experience with sourcing, vendor management, and cost negotiation.
- Hands-on experience handling purchase requisitions and generating accurate, timely purchase orders.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Familiarity with procurement documentation, basic contract terms, and ERP or purchasing software tools.
- Attention to detail, numerical proficiency, and the ability to analyze pricing, lead times, and quality parameters.
- Prior experience in construction, interiors, modular furniture, or related industries is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Vadodara, manage multiple priorities, and meet project-driven deadlines.
