Company Description Peacechat is India’s first Relationship & Emotional Support app, founded by Rishabh Jain, that connects users with empathetic listeners, dating coaches, relationship experts, influencers, and celebrities for one-to-one chat and call sessions. The platform focuses on providing accessible emotional support and relationship guidance in a safe, judgment-free environment. Role Description This is a full-time remote Psychology Intern role. The intern will support users by participating in supervised emotional support and relationship guidance sessions via chat and calls, following established protocols and ethical guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include conducting basic psychological research, assisting with the development of psychoeducational content, and helping design support materials for users.
The role also involves documenting interactions, maintaining confidentiality, collaborating with senior psychologists and coaches,
and contributing to improvements in Peacechat’s support framework and user experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Psychology and Mental Health, including basic knowledge of counseling principles and emotional support.
- Candidates should possess skills in Psychological Testing and assessment fundamentals, with the ability to assist in administering and interpreting basic standardized tools under supervision.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and empathetic interaction in online settings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Education and psychoeducation, including the ability to help create informative resources and explain concepts in an accessible manner.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated interest in relationship counseling, emotional well-being, or digital mental health services.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and follow supervision and feedback.
- Respect for diversity, strong ethical standards, and commitment to user confidentiality and non-judgmental support.
