Job Description Summary

The Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer – AME & Testing will provide technical leadership for process engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing test equipment, and automation supporting complex medical equipment. This role will lead and support the development, implementation, qualification, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and test equipment, with a strong focus on test equipment automation, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), electromechanical systems, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and operational performance. The engineer will also leverage technologies such as Power BI, AI/ML tools, IoT platforms, advanced analytics, and equipment data to improve testing effectiveness, enable predictive maintenance, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Own and lead manufacturing engineering activities for New Product Introductions (NPI) and manufacturing transfers for existing products, collaborating with global and local cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
Lead and support process engineering activities associated with current product introductions, manufacturing readiness, production ramp-up, and implementation of new manufacturing and testing technologies.
Design, develop, improve, and support manufacturing automation systems, test equipment, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids to enable efficient and reliable production.
Support the transition from legacy testing systems to new testing platforms, software, automation tools, and testing infrastructure.
