Progression/5 & BBj Developer

Tech Stack: Basis International Progression/5 (BBx, Pro/5), Business Basic for Java (BBj), HTTP, XML, RPC, Microsoft SQL Server, Unix/Linux Shell, Splunk, Dynatrace.

Role: Senior developer responsible for actively developing and enhancing legacy Progression/5 and BBj applications, integrations, and system capabilities within a formal SDLC setting.

Required: 10+ years of recent hands-on development experience with Progression/5 and BBj, with the majority of experience focused on new feature/capability development rather than production support. Strong experience with Pro/5 integrations (HTTP, XML, RPC), learning existing custom codebases, developing from technical specifications, and SQL Server/query development for troubleshooting.

- Preferred: Hospitality/Vacation Ownership experience,



Progression/5 + BBj integrations, Unix/Linux scripting, other Business Basic variants, and Splunk/Dynatrace.

Work Arrangement & Availability

Role: Backend Support for Client-Facing IT Resource

- Work Mode: Fully Remote
- Support Method: Remote access and collaboration through Zoom and whatsapp
- Required Availability: 6:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST
- Average Active Working Hours: 4–5 hours per day
- Nature of Work: Provide technical/backend support to the client-facing resource, including troubleshooting, technical guidance, issue resolution, configuration, and assistance with project deliverables.
- The candidate should remain available during the stated time window, while the average active workload will be approximately 4–5 hours per day.
- All support and coordination will be handled remotely through Zoom and whatsapp
