Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Manager role based in Bhuj.

The Production

Manager will oversee day-to-day plant operations, including planning production schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring that manufacturing targets are met safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include supervising production teams, monitoring quality standards, coordinating maintenance activities, and optimizing processes to reduce waste and downtime. The role involves close collaboration with procurement, quality, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and adherence to customer specifications.

The Production

Manager will also track key performance indicators, implement continuous improvement initiatives,



and ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong production and operations management skills, including experience with planning, scheduling, and process optimization.
- Candidates should have knowledge of manufacturing processes related to metal products such as sheets, plates, flanges, fasteners, and tubes, ideally within stainless steel and specialty alloys.
- Candidates should demonstrate skills in quality control and assurance, including setting standards, conducting inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Candidates should have team leadership and people management capabilities, including supervising shop-floor staff, managing shifts, and fostering a secure, collaborative work environment.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to act quickly and effectively in a fast-paced production setting.
- Candidates should have effective communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams such as procurement, maintenance, logistics, and sales.
- A relevant technical qualification (such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field) and prior experience in industrial or metal manufacturing environments are highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with safety standards, regulatory compliance, and basic computer skills for using production and reporting tools will be advantageous.
