Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager – EV Workbenches to manage day-to-day operations related to the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and delivery of EV workbenches and laboratory setups. The candidate will be responsible for manpower handling, workforce planning, PPC (Production Planning & Control), process coordination, documentation, and ensuring smooth execution of operations within defined timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee day-to-day operational activities related to EV workbench production and project execution.

Plan and allocate manpower and workforce based on production requirements and project timelines.

Prepare and monitor PPC plans to ensure timely completion of production activities.

Coordinate with production, purchase, stores, design, and other internal teams for smooth operations.

Monitor daily production progress, workforce utilization, and project timelines.

Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, tools, equipment, and other resources.

Handle workforce deployment, attendance, productivity, and daily work allocation.

Identify operational bottlenecks and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.





Maintain proper production and operational documentation, records, reports, and trackers.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production/operations reports and share progress updates with management.

Ensure proper documentation of work orders, production schedules, material requirements, inspection records, and dispatch details.

Monitor work processes to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards.

Coordinate for installation and commissioning activities at client locations whenever required.

Track project requirements and ensure timely execution and closure of assigned activities.

Support management in improving operational processes, productivity, and workforce efficiency.

Required Qualification

B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automobile, or related Engineering discipline.

3–6 years of experience in operations, production, manufacturing, project execution, or workforce management.

Experience in manpower handling, workforce planning, PPC, and operational coordination.

Strong knowledge of production processes, assembly, electrical wiring, fabrication, and testing.

Valuable understanding of production planning, resource allocation, and workflow management.

Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and other documentation/reporting tools.

Good communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and operational activities simultaneously.

Knowledge of EV components, EV workbenches, automotive systems, or laboratory equipment will be an added advantage.
