Product owner – Payments :

Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Defining and prioritizing product backlogs, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and analyzing business processes related to SWIFT payments and ISO 20022. This includes translating requirements for technical teams.

• Documentation and Mapping: Documenting functional requirements, mapping business requirements for ISO 20022 changes, and developing detailed requirement documents and process flows.

• SWIFT Messaging Expertise: Having a deep understanding of SWIFT payments, ISO 20022 standards, and the MT to MX transition, ensuring seamless system integration.

• Data Governance and Quality: Implementing management processes and standards to maintain accurate, consistent, and reliable data.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Working with product/business teams and end-users, acting as a liaison between teams, and engaging with stakeholders like technical teams and compliance officers to ensure alignment on ISO 20022 changes.





• Testing and Validation: Performing data analysis and coordinating with QA and UAT teams, defining test cases, validating outcomes, and facilitating UAT.

• General Business Analysis: Analyzing existing workflows and identifying areas for enhancement and developing detailed functional specifications for changes.

Required Skills and Experience: 10+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role with custody securities business focus on payments and SWIFT ISO 20022 / ISO15022 projects, including a deep understanding message types, and related financial messaging protocols.

Experience with payment systems, financial messaging platforms, business requirements gathering, and documentation is also necessary. Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with experience in Agile methodologies
