Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the Role

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

- 10–15 years of experience in Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of engineering calculations in Combined Cycle Power Plants and/or Biomass Power Plants / Coal-fired / Gas-fired Boiler Power Plants.
- Knowledge of systems such as:




- Fuel Gas / Liquid Fuel
- Steam & Condensate
- Feed Water
- Main Cooling
- Closed Cooling
- Demineralized Water
- Service Water & Compressed Air

General Requirements

- Experience working in a multi-office, multi-disciplinary team environment.
- High level of stress management.
- High proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
- Strong commitment and proactive attitude.

Main General Responsibilities

- Development and supervision of pipe sizing, hydraulic calculations, heat and material balance, utilities summaries, and calculations.
- Development and supervision of:
- Boiler Feedwater Pumps
- Condensate Pumps
- Heat Exchangers
- Control Valves
- Safety Valves
- Instrument Process Data Specifications
- Preparation of Process / Functional Descriptions, Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
- Support other disciplines.
- Prepare P&IDs; / line lists.
