Purpose Of The Position

- Conduct VDA 6.3 process audits and manage process releases during 0-Series and SOP to ensure compliance with group requirements.
- Evaluate and release new or modified production processes to ensure quality, capacity, and technical feasibility.
- Plan and execute process audits, releases, and checks, including coordination with internal departments and group/brand auditors.
- Identify process risks through structured process checks and support LTF (Leistung Test Fertigung) activities.
- Drive process improvement by analyzing findings, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring their effectiveness and sustainability.

Authority

- Evaluate and approve process audit, process release, and process check reports.
- Select audit and process release teams.
- Decide closure and assign status of internal and Konzern/Brand audit, process release, and process check observations based on effectiveness.
- Release audit, process release, process check, and LTF reports along with updated status.
- Escalate major nonconformities and unresolved issues to management and Head –
- Process Compliance &
- Release.

Skills Required

Critical Skills

- VDA 6.3 process auditor certification
- Knowledge of quality tools & methods (e.g. FMEA, Global 8D)
- Knowledge of Various Equipment’s, Tools used in Production Shop
- Knowledge of Product, Process

Efficiency Key Responsibilities &

- Tasks:

- Prepare annual plans and conduct process audits, process releases, process checks, and LTF audits as per VDA 6.3 and management requirements.
- Plan and conduct opening and closing meetings with auditees and concerned departments.
- Perform shop-floor process evaluation and verify compliance with VDA 6.3 guidelines.
- Finalize process release for 0 Series and SOP of new projects with clear outcome assessment.
- Prepare, review, and release detailed audit, process release, process check, and LTF reports.
- Track, review, and communicate status of open observations to stakeholders and management.
- Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure closure and sustenance of observations.
- Analyze audit and process findings to conclude process status and identify risks.
- Drive continuous process improvements from audit, process release, and process check observations.
- Coordinate with CFT and support closure of observations during process release activities.
- Collaborate with Konzern/Brand auditors for audits and process validation.
- Participate in recent process concept discussions to ensure optimization, smooth production, and cost efficiency.




- Escalate major and long-pending unresolved observations to management.
- Ensure timely communication of process release and process check status.
- Ensure achievement of sectional goals and targets.

Quality

- Coordinate with production shops for corrective action planning and closure of process check, LTF audit, process release, and VDA 6.3 audit observations
- Plan, conduct, and monitor LTF activities for new projects during PVS, 0-Series, and SOP stages.
- Ensure implementation of product-related deviations in pre-series builds.
- Organize and follow up on process check and audit review meetings with CFT for timely closure of observations.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives through workshops (3P, KVP, internal improvements).
- Identify process and product risks at early stages and drive effective resolution.
- Collaborate with Type Leader/Headquarters for benchmarking and adoption of best practices.
- Monitor and achieve quality targets and KPIs.

Organization

- Coordinate and communicate across departments for smooth execution of process audits, process releases, process checks, and LTF activities.
- Support plants/shops in corrective action planning and implementation for process non-conformances.
- Ensure effective information sharing and alignment between shops, plants, and stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate LTF team activities, including planning of suitability verification for processes, products, and logistics.
- Conduct sustenance checks of critical observations and update management on status.
- Review quality performance data for audit and process check preparation.

Systems

- Ensure harmonization of internal and external audits across QMS, EMS, EnMS, IT, and OHSMS systems.
- Maintain and manage documentation related to process audits, process releases, process checks, and LTF activities as per QMS requirements.
