Role Description
We are hiring a business leader to run our Indian operation. This is a general management role with full budget ownership, not a plant management role. The successful candidate will own the number, build each department into a function that runs on delegated authority, and grow the business into current products and new export routes.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the Maxworth Minerals India operating budget and deliver agreed revenue, volume and margin targets.
• Build each department, covering production, quality, logistics, export documentation, stores and sales support, into a function with a named manager, defined KPIs and delegated decision authority.
• Develop logistics and sourcing into a documented, competitive function,



including the capability to ship and export from ports beyond Vizag.
• Reduce single-supplier exposure by qualifying alternative sources for core grades. • Identify and commercialize new products and trading lines.
• Represent the business in the market through customer, supplier and trade expo visits across India and Southeast Asia.
* Close key-person risk across the site and management team capabilities & cross functional collaboration.

Essential requirements
• 12+ years of experience, including at least 5 years with full site, division or P&L; accountability.
• Combined operations and commercial accountability, covering production and cost control as well as revenue delivery in the same role.
• Demonstrated experience establishing management structure
• Background in minerals, abrasives, chemicals, metals, cement or a comparable industrial commodity, with export market exposure.
